Friday’s Alive

Benefiting Rockbridge SPCA and Blue Ridge Autism and Achievement Center (BRAAC)

Friday’s Alive is Lexington’s premier outdoor concert series. As the name indicates, the concerts are held on Fridays. The fun starts at 5:30 pm and runs until 9:00 pm. Proceeds from the concerts benefit local area charities.  Bring your family and friends to support a good cause. Sorry no outside food, beverage or pets allowed.

Back and better than ever!  Friday’s Alive is right around the corner.  Bands and dates are locked in and we’re ready for summertime.  Are you?

  • June 2 – The Cross Eyed Cats
  • June 16 – Sara Jane McDonald and Sweet Fire
  • June 30 – The Rhondels
  • July 14 – Stone Canyon
  • July 28 – The Red Hill Band

The downtown sounds of summer will soon be alive with the Friday’s Alive Concert Series! Friday’s Alive is the premier summer staple of Lexington community entertainment. The Lexington-Rockbridge Jaycees will once again host FREE outdoor concerts in gorgeous Davidson Park. A special THANKS goes to the assistance and support of the City of Lexington, Washington and Lee University and the Chamber of Commerce.

Many of your favorites of years past return once again. The band plays from 6-9pm each evening. Seating (your chairs and blankets of course!) will begin around 5:30pm or earlier for those prime shaded seats! Admission is free and the Jaycees suggest you come early and stay late! PLEASE remember, no outside food, drink or pets are allowed–all proceeds from sales go to local charities.

*The inclement weather location for Friday’s Alive is the Washington & Lee Student Activities Pavilion. Please visit this website or the Lexington-Rockbridge Jaycees Facebook page for up-to-date information about concert location.
